S. Gurcharanjit Singh Lamba, editor Sant Sipahi, interacts with representatives of various Missionary Colleges about Sri Dasam Granth, in Delhi. In a two-hour long video S. Lamba eloquently clears many misunderstandings regarding the Dasam bani which have been negatively propagated through some anti-Sikh quarters.

The meeting was quite successful and left the audience fully satisfied. Even members of Sikh Missionary College (Ludhiana) who were present there appreciated the meeting.

In an articulate lecture rich with anecdotes and literary scholarship Dr. Harpal Singh Pannu, Professor and Head, Department of Religious Studies, Punjabi University Patiala, talks about the contents and purpose of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib.

 

Dr. Jodh Singh (Prof. of Sikhism & Editor-in-Chief Encyclopedia of Sikhism) talks about Sikh Scriptures, especially Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Sri Dasam Granth Sahib, and Vaar Bhai Gurdas. Dr. Jodh Singh is an expert on Sikh scriptures and has translated Sri Dasam Granth Sahib into Hindi and English. By giving various examples in this lecture he shows how most of the times the methodology which is used to do research on Sikh scriptures is seriously flawed. He argues that research should aim at education and not to stir controversies as is done most of the times

Giani Sher Singh Ambala talks about the hypocrisy of Darshan Singh Ragi who at one time used to sing Shabads from the banee of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, and now, by playing in the hands of anti-Panthic forces, is denigrating the same banees. ‘‘ਜਾਂਤੇ ਛੁਟਿ ਗਯੋ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਉਰਕਾ ਤਿਹ ਆਗੈ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਕਿਆ ਤੁਰਕਾ।’’ (ਚੌਬੀਸ, 19)

"ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਤੇ ਅਰਥ ਸਮਝਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਦਰਕਿਨਾਰ, ਬੁਜ਼ਦਿਲ ਆਦਮੀ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ। ਇਹ ਕਾਇਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਅੰਗ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਗਾਰਾਂ, ਕਿਰਪਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੁਣਕਾਰਾਂ, ਤੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਕਾਬਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਸੁਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ"।
